I thank God Quoc is here with Dad. What would we do without Quoc here? Even though Dad is no longer able to speak, but he can feel and understand. We have to leave soon but Tung will be here on Friday until Tuesday. After that, if needed, we can be back.
My greatest concern about leaving now is that these are the last moments of Dad's life. I thank God he is not so much in pain and suffering like he did in the past.
Even if he is not able to respond to us, it would be extremely helpful if we could just sit there next to his bed, hold his hand, stroke his hair, and to talk to him. After all, that's what we are here for. We will never have the chance to do this again.
So I am calling on Dad's kids, to be there for Dad and Quoc, at least emotionally. Quoc has been with Dad everyday and night. The least we could do is to be there to share with them emotionally.
I know this is old, but I thank you from the bottom of my heart for co duong Sau's family and the families of their children, co Lisa and her children, co Bay and her family, esp. Son, who has been so compassionate and caring toward his uncle whom he didn't have the chance to get to know much growing up. I could not do anything to repay them, but I know that God will as He knows and sees everything.
