FAREWELL POEM
I must go now.
Days have passed, nights have gone, time has stopped.
Joy fulfilled, frustration ended,
What meanings of these remains!
Vast heavens, my inconsequential heart
One way home, four winding paths
This way – that way, it’s all too late
Soul sadden like a high noon market
Midst of commerce, sitting up to count
Hundred years loaned, lifetime payment
A life paid, yet I still owed
Owed others, I still owed myself
Could have saved every days and nights
Could have kept every minutes and seconds
But time has passed so hastily
It’s too late! I must go now!
It’s too late!
I must go now.
It’s too late, I must
Go now!
