HI all my siblings& cousins,I finally feel better after 2 days of total bed rest. Missing work for 2 days is a big deal for me, since this is the 1st time in my 20 years of practice that I ever staying home sick. I don't know whether Son &I got the same strain of virus as Dad's, but physically experiencing it at 52, I kind of guess how dad would felt at 77. Luckily, Son did not get hit as hard as I did. Maybe b/c of his green tea, or b/c he isn't going thru menopause like I do. Any how, I won't be making any visit soon to mom, dad and cau Nam until I am totally healthy, for their own sakes.
Please send my regard to them, and let them know the reason of my absence. My best complements to my younger siblings.
Huyen, as always, the most efficient person that I ever known, is taking care of the whole situation so well. Huyen also known for her special closeness to cau Nam, I guess b/c of the location of her office, and her diplomatic personality, has become cau Nam's favorite niece. I'm glad that you are there for him at this stage of his life.
Ti, the most religious out of all of us, has done a great job of taking care of the spiritual needs for cau Nam. Bringing cha Huy to cau Nam seems to be the perfect gift for his hospital visit, beside the daily communions.. Not forgetting that Giao has to make arrangement from his job to take care of the 2 little ones at the meantime.
Huy- Hoang, As your oldest sister, I have never seen so much compassion from you. I guess, as the youngest son of an adoring mom, you never have the chance to show it until now. I am so proud to see that in you, and love you more for that.
Ha,My lovely youngest sister, always there to fill in where she is needed.
Vui,The hi-tech ones, is doing whatever he could to contribute.
Anh Hung, and Hung,Quietly visiting whenever they can.I have to tell you all to watch out. If I ever get to be very sick, I would move back into Houston with you guys!
Kiet,
Son and I finally see your Jan 7 blog . I understand exactly your dilemma. Do whatever you feel the most appropriate to you. That would be the right thing . W e fully support you , and I don't think you would be regret later on. We all know that you love and care for your dad tremendously. Peace and love be with you and your whole family.
Quoc,I am glad cau Nam has you for his youngest son.Your gentle nature and devotion has served the situation well. God has created all in his loving images for certain purposes.Keep up your strength, we are all behind you.
Love you all, Vy
