Anh 5, Vui, Dung, and Quoc had just left approximately 30 minutes ago around 12:15 A.M. Earlier, Susie & Tram our cousins from Cin... city had paid their last tributes to my Dad. It was very sad to see all of them crying their eyes out, including Thu who was able to control herself a little more, but eventually broke through. Son, Tram and Susie are leaving early A.M.
Cau Nam is taking shorter and more shallow inhales while the period cycles of exhales vary from 1..5 seconds. His breathing was noticeably less forceful and more shallows. I told Tung, I think it is near the end now. So, we walked over to checked on him. Both of us held each other, while I also hold Tung as well. Looking at his face, we noticed the jaw bone is more clearly defined now. His right eye is partially open, while his left eye was fully shut. I told Tung that my Dad had made an ultimate sacrifice for all of us. Then I looked at the position of his legs and overall position of his body. I couldn't help it but to say that in similar position as Jesus was on the cross. I took the cross from the wooden rosary around his neck that was under the sheet and placed it over the sheet where it was fully visible. His breathing continues to drop off. It gotten to the point where his intake was not noticable at all, but every 5 seconds, he lets out an exhail similar to an "u*'c" person after one had cried a long time.
At exactly 1:11 A.M, Cau Nam took his last painful ( as expressed on his face), and did exhail for the last time. We waited for 2 minutes, trying to check his pulse. Shortly after that, I went to call the nurses. They came in around 1:15 to confirm his death. The nurse told me that I need to get Quoc here as he has the right of Power of Attorney to sign and release the body to the funeral home. I made the call to Quoc right away, and that was 1:30 A.M. They need to do this as soon as possible.

P.S. I also forgot to mention that one of Dad's favorite nephew, Trung from Cincinatti, did come in just in time earlier this evening to paid his last tributes to Dad.
Thank you Kiet for the details on dads last moment on earth.
I truly appreciate your entry and will do so for years to come.
I love you for that.
